FAQ

We know buying denim online is scary. Trust us, we've been in your shoes. We've also been in line for the dressing room at the department store for 30 minutes, carrying 10 different pairs of jeans in 4 different sizes waiting to try them on under the disgusting fluorescent light and in front of the funhouse mirrors. Honestly, when it comes to denim we'd prefer to battle it out in the online game, chat with some super friendly and helpful customer service agents, and have delivered to our door the denim of our dreams, for us to pants dance our way into and fall in love all over again. Welcome to Revice.

Below we have listed out our frequently asked questions and in response have poured out our heart and soul to give you the best advice we can when it comes to buying Revice Denim.

What is stretch and recoil?

Ahh, good question. Stretch and recoil is a phrase we use often when it comes to our vintage style denim. It's a phrase that describes how the fabric reacts when the denim is worn.

Vintage denim (think thrift-shop finds or 90's Friends style) is made with a heavier fabric, often 100% cotton, which has no stretch at all. Our version of this style is made with fabric that is 98/2, 98% cotton, 2% elastane. That 2% elastane is where your stretch comes in. So it is there, just in small parts.

Denim with our stretch and recoil technology might take a little bit of a pants dance to get them on as they are meant to fit in a hip hugging and booty lifting manner. Once on, they will flatter your curves in every which way. They will stretch for comfort as you wear them in the day (but not so much so that you're fitted jeans went from 100 to 0 real quick). After each wear and wash the fabric will recoil back up into that fresh out of the dryer hip hugger fit we know and love. This way you can space out your washes because the fit remains, saving water & saving quarters.

What is Afterpay?

Afterpay is a digital payment service that allows you to enjoy what you want now and pay for it in four equal payments without any interest fees.

All Afterpay customers are required to make their first payment at the time of purchase. The remaining three payments are deducted automatically every 2 weeks in equal installments from your selected payment method. If you would like to make additional unscheduled payments before they are due, you may log in to Afterpay to make your payments early. Afterpay will then adjust the amount owed accordingly.

You can log in to your Afterpay account anytime to view your payment schedule or make a payment before the next due date!

What is a raw edge?

No, it is not a trendy new vegan restaurant. A raw edge is simply our denim-logy term for the seam at the bottom of your pants. A raw edge means there is no tucked and sewn traditional style seam. Instead it is left open.

Why am I one size in one pair of your denim, but a different size in another pair?

It's not about the numbers ladies! So do not get hung up on your numerical size. Think fit, fabric, and flatter. Our goal is for each of you to feel 100% phenomenal in whatever pair of jeans you order from us. Because each of our denim is a unique master piece just like each of you are, the way their fabric reacts and the way we construct them to compensate for that fabric reaction, varies from style to style. We do our best to detail this for you in size charts, unique to each style, that directly correlate to the pair you are viewing at the moment. These measurements are your map, your holy grail, your guiding light to finding your perfect match of denim in your endless hunt. SO USE IT.

We also know that it can be confusing, emotionally draining, and exhausting which is why we also offer support in every area of the playing field. Just chat live with us, or email our orders@re-vice.com email with any and all questions and we will get back to you as soon as possible with answers. We check our inbox, Sunday-Monday, 9am-5pm PST.

So, what exactly is pre-order?

Pre-order is exactly what it sounds like. It is our way of giving you the chance to put your reservation on a dreamy pair of denim you've been wide eyed and drooling over. Because let's be real, we all hate that moment of "sold out please insert your email to be notified upon restock" situation. We all get enough emails a day anyways right? That is why we decided to skip the email train, give you chance to make the purchase right then and there, and then give you some time to forget about that credit card charge. So that by the time you've paid it off and forgotten about our late night online shopping affair, that sweet Revice package will appear at your door to spice up a dreary day.

Pre-order items will list in their product description an ESTIMATED wait time that we hope to fulfill your order within. Bold and underline estimated. Stuff happens sometimes, unforeseen stuff in production that we cannot predict and sometimes that adds some days here or there to our waits. But fret not, we do our absolute best to push things through as fast as we can without compromising the superior quality of the denim. We will fulfill orders as we can and you will receive an email with tracking once the package departs.

Excuse me, I've called and emailed you like three times, where are you?

We like to play hard to get... ;) Don't worry though babes we're here! We are a small team (4 girls), so sometimes phone calls get missed, or emails pile up. We get a lot of inquires to our inboxes each day but we aim to answer everyone in 24-48 hours. Though we do take Saturdays off from email, in attempt to connect with the outside world and get out of our closet under the stairs for some fresh air.

The best way to reach us is via email, orders@re-vice.com or on Instagram DM- but we'll probably ask you to email anyways so just go that route. We're in office and reachable Monday-Friday 9am-4pm PST.

Do robots answer emails?

Do pigs fly? Nope. That is one of the many things you can count on with us at Revice, you are 100% always dealing with real human beings. That being said, we can only do our humanly best to give advice, fix errors, answer questions, and right all wrongs in this world for you. So have grace, have patience, and we will with you as well. Always.
